Clare Cioma (née Higginson), wife of freed Water Thief, Karol Cioma, has done a Tammy Wynette and pledged her loyalty to her husband, vowing to stick by him through thick and thin. Clare spoke to the press following the Chilean Government's decision to drop all charges against Mr Cioma given that it was the defendant's birthday. In a press conference Clare said "My husband has vowed to put his life of crime behind him and start afresh."
In an emotional outburst, Mrs Cioma appealed to the press and media to "leave the family alone" and described their ordeal as a "nightmare." Finally, she added "All we want to do is go home, blow out the candles, sing Happy Birthday and have some birthday cake."
Nevertheless, the couple are still being investigated and the Social Services might have to be called in as the couple's young son Josef was also implemented in the case.
