White Wedding Takes Best Original Song Prize

STOP PRESS! White Wedding, the mini-homage to newlyweds Dan & Luce from Bristol, has taken first prize in the Original Soundtrack category for this year's Royal Wedding Video Awards hosted by world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog. The cut n' splice job features a 30-year old plus vocal performance by the groom (Dan) and original music by the mystery founder of long lost psychedelic underground groovesters Danny & the Uncles. A spokesperson for the artist said "We're really chuffed to get this prestigious award. It makes all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears worth while." Whilst no official anouncement has been made, talk of a Danny & the Uncles reunion tour, possiblly as special guests of West Country Psycho Rockers John.E.Vistic, is being rumoured. The best picture Royal Wedding Video Award went to little known Kiwi outfit the Hope-Higginsons for their comedy drama The Wedding We'll Never See. Blog Spot Readership Away

Practically the entire readership of world famous blogspot papasgotabramdnewblog has shuffled off to spend the day together in a tent in the middle of nowhere.

If that isn't exclusive news I'll eat my hat!

For those readers who have spent the last few months in complete isolation, said tent job is to celebrate the not so holy matrimony of royal couple Dan & Luce, a pair of right royal....oh sorry must get the phone.

Congratulations to the hippy couple ...ehem .... happy couple!

Poppy Pops Out Early!

According to an official spokesperson, latest tribe member, Poppy Higginson, popped out earlier than expected as she doesn't want to miss out on her cousin's wedding.

World famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog knows very little about poppies apart from the possible urban myths that they're generally red, there are lots of em and they can be potemtially dangerous. Additionally, a quick look on Wikipedia informs us that "Bees use poppies as a pollen source" so at least there's an obvious Honey connection.
Poppies are also a symbol of sleep and death. Just in case you're interested, Poppies in Spanish is Amapolas and the flower is used a lot in weddings in Puerta Rica.

Never judge a book by its cover

Never being one to blow his own trumpet, the mild-mannered and utterly modest scribbler kept this well and truly under his hat. Sympharosa: In Loving Memory

Sympharosa Corcoran wanted 13 children and world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog wishes her wishes had come true (as theoretically it would have increased its readership!) but alas it wasn’t to be.
Anyway, to celebrate Sympharosa’s birthday, papasgotabrandnewblog is running a “who’s got all the pictures of our family when we were kids” competition in the hope that somebody out there will scan & share. The editor of world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog was once the proud owner of a least 4 or 5 family photos but they disappeared mysteriously during part of his self inflicted “Dark Ages” (They haven’t finished yet: Ed!!!!!!!!!!).

A rose for Sympharosa

Boy oh Boy!

Well known Bristol-based artist, Colin “ Super Chato” Higginson celebrates his birthday today. As almost exclusively reported by world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog recently, Colin’s latest piece of art was “Boy” a pop video of an original song from the artist extensive repertoire. Although there is no official statement, the song is rumoured to be about one of “boys” in the one of the photos accompanying this article. However, the artist, who was not available for comment, has neither confirmed nor denied this claim.
Further rumours circulating that the artist is currently working on the follow up with the tentative title of “Teenager”, with the final instalment “Man” being ready for release to coincide with the artists 100th birthday in 2063, are also unconfirmed.
