The trouble began when the man, pictured here with his partner, announced that he was "a serious artist". Members of the Bristol Arts Society were outraged and threatened to boycott all up and coming exhibitions if the man was allowed to get away with such a blatant misrepresentation.
Elizabeth Higginson-Lloyd, a spokesperson for the Community of Bristol and Bath Local Equitable Representation Syndicate (COBBLERS) said "We can't have every Tom, Dick or Colin going around claiming to be a serious artist. We've seen his work and believe me we know what we're on about. This guy is a joker in every sense of the word."
We here at Papa's got a brand new blog tend to agree. You can tell by the photo that this is not a serious person. That smug half-smile really gives the game away.

Yeah! He's got a real Mona Lisa look about him. Is it a smile or is he sitting on something sharp?
This guy is locally known as "Colin the Con" and has been claiming to be a serious artist for years. Recently, as he is starting to realise the game is up, he has been making what he is trying to claim as art in minature so that he might get over looked.
