Hollywood Remake Loses Budget

According to rumours, the planned remake of the classic western The Magnificent Seven has run into funding problems. Reports claim that the initial budget of $20 million US dollars has been cut to about $20,000 Chilean pesos (about £21). Apparently, the shooting of the film has been delayed indefinitely and many of actors have abandoned the shoot location the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile.
One actor, who requested anonymity, gave the following statement.
"The director is to blame. He promised us Johnny Depp. He told us he had contracted him for the film at the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean 2. When Depp didn't show up, the other actors walked out. I don't blame them either! We've been sleeping in tents and living on baked beans for the last 2 weeks. It you lit a match around here the bloody desert would explode!"
The intended film, which also included stuntwoman Jamie-Leigh Higginson (who recently tried to tightrope walk the Andes), and Feng Shui expert Beatriz Jaramillo in the cast, may still go ahead.
A secret Hollywood source revealed to world famous blogspot Papa's got a brand new blog that script writers are working day and night to salvage the film.
"There still 3 actors in Atacama and the director wants to see what they can do with the reduced budget" our source informed us, adding that "Suggested working titles for the new project are; The Quite Good Three, Carry on in the Desert, Even Cowboys Get New Shoes, and Brokeback Mountain 2 (a female version of Brokeback Mountain!!)."
