According to rumours, Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker is furious that world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog snubbed his recent show at Santiago music festival Primavera Fauna. The music journalist for the popular online journal was seen leaving the festival site at 11pm, shortly after the crowd-pleasing performance by Argentine funksters Illya Kuryakin & the Valderramas. Other notable acts were past papasgotabrandnewblog sweethearts - Columbian psychedelic hip-hop troubadours Bomba Estereo, with the occasionally U2-sound-a-likes The Walkmen and, Talking Heads pretenders Clap Your Hands Say Yeah getting an honourable mention. Dinosaur Jr. did their rock thing
According to the sister of the man running the All-Night Taxi rank, Jarvis told some people that he was “well peeved” that he wouldn’t be getting his column inches in “the coolest world famous blogsot in Chile”.
There were also reports that Cocker dedicated “Common People” to “a common blogspot” but papasgotabrandnewblog has been unable to verify this fact. However, we do feature photographic evidence of Jarvis Cocker trying to spot the papasgotabrandnewblog's music journalist in the crowd.
