Birthday Girl Attacked with Cup Cake

A Bristol based nurse was rushed to hospital this morning after being attacked by a woman armed with a cup cake. According to an eye witness Emma-Rose H was ambushed in Droitwich town centre by a deranged woman who proceeded to attack the unarmed nurse with a triple coloured cup cake. The cake was lodged in the victim’s mouth and required extensive surgery to remove it.
A spokesperson for the hospital said that Emma had been very lucky and could have suffered grave respiratory problems if it hadn’t been for her quick thinking. The plucky nurse quickly ate the part of the cake that was obstructing her airway thus removing any danger of suffocation. The rest of the cake was removed by surgery and has been handed over to police forensic experts who will try to fathom out whether the cake was home-made or not as part of the investigation to track down the assailant.
Emma, who turned 22 today, was unavailable for comment. She was in Droitwich visiting her mother, Fran H. the Queen of Spades gardening celebrity, as part of her birthday celebration. Police would like to speak to Emma’s elder sister Jaime who was seen near the scene of the crime earlier in the day.
