Paekakariki based psychedelic folk combo Dovetails started the British leg of their European tour by playing to a packed house in the Clifton area of Bristol last night. Admittedly, it was a very small house plus there have been claims of misuse over the inclusion of the word “packed” in the description of said gig. World famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog loathes getting into any argument concerning the event, however, we (Hetty) hope that the photograph of the band posing with the entire audience just after the show will allow the reader the chance to draw his/her/its own conclusions regarding this matter.
Dovetails plan to perform in Box (or in a box – we’re not quite sure – Ed) as well as North Wales (another country) and are (Hetty) hoping to add shows in Oxford and Droitwich.

No no no, there WERE loads of us. However, due to a lot of sugar and excitement, many of us (especially the vast quantity of tiny fans) were on total wipeout when this photo was captured. The house WAS packed, the songless Dovetails appearance was and IS bigger than brilliant. Just waiting for the next Chilean duo's tour now x
