Travelling minstrel Neil Williams has revealed the harsh truth about his initiation into the world of entertainment and the wicked manager who used to beat him with a stick. Williams, who celebrates his fortieth birthday today, has provided world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog with photographic proof to back up claims that his former manager forced him to play gruellingly long live concerts under threat of a sound beating. Williams, bills himself as “the Bruce Springsteen of the Cheltenham folk circuit” for his ability to play live sets of 4 or 5 hours without a break.

Williams, who is famed for his ability to segue a large number of songs together seamlessly has been accused of using this as a way of keeping his audience captive rather than captivated. However, the singer claims that this practice harks back to the days when his evil manager would “beat him black and blue” every time he stopped playing. According to an unnamed source, the photograph actually shows Williams being threatened with a beating because he wouldn’t stop singing. The singer vehemently denies this claim and has retorted by saying that this is a rumour being spread by lesser artists who are just jealous of his musical talent.

Today is the last chance for UK readers of world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog to see top New Zealand actor Ella Double H in her current play Tom Keeper Passes. To catch the final performance of the play, which has been described as a "splendid production" by Laurie Atkinson in The Dominion Post and as "highly recommended" by John Smythe from the New Zealand Theatre Review. The story uses "bee-keeping as a metaphor for human intervention in the natural world" with special attention to the phenomenon of colony collapse disorder(CCD) which has been affecting Bees worldwide since at least 2006.

UK readers wishing to catch the final performance will need to act pretty sharpish as it involves catching a plane which travels the wrong way around the world in order to arrive in Wellington today (Feb 12 down-under) to catch the final performance. World renowned Art Therapist Colin H has been contacted by Bristol Police working on the Bristol Builder Bullies Baby case. According to reports, the artful artist has been asked to interpret the artwork of underage criminal apprentice Honey B who has been identified as the sidekick of arch-villain Geddie H, the Bristol based builder currently being investigated for trying to make his youngest daughter Pixie “disappear” (and we are not talking magic tricks, pulling rabbits from hats or anything of that ilk).
Police want the thoughtful therapist to do a “full frontal Freud” on the artwork (above) of Honey B to find out what makes her tic and what makes her tock. Is the problem just her parents winding her up, or is she a time bomb waiting to explode?

Criminals Caught in the Act

Despite the “butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth expression” Bristol based builder Geddie H is once again making news for all the wrong reasons. After being caught out trying to swap his newly born daughter for a large plastic gorilla in a Spiderman outfit back in August 2011, the crazy construction boss is now suspected of having carried out two new offences. According to unconfirmed reports, the dodgy dad supposedly tried to suffocate the same daughter involved in the plastic gorilla in a Spiderman outfit swap deal (whose name has been with-held for legal reason) and, additionally, encouraged a minor to participate in a criminal act. The minor in question goes under the moniker of “Honey B” and is non-other than the eldest daughter of the barmy builder. Police are said to be monitoring the situation but claim they are unable to act until “a clear chargeable offence has been committed and/or reported”.
As has often been said, a picture says more than a thousand words and world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog has acquired photographic proof to back up the recent accusations. Not only does our photograph show the moment in which the alleged attempted suffocation took place but it also clearly shows the evil glint in the eyes of Honey B who seems well aware of her father’s wicked intention. Hopefully, this is all the evidence that the police need in order to arrest this cowardly criminal and lock him up for a long, long time. With a bit of luck, there’s still time to save Honey B from choosing a life of crime and cruelty at such a tender age.

Birthday boy Josh W. a Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation major in the Bristol area successfully defended his World Snogathon title last week in a bout which was specially arranged to herald in the Chinese New Year 2012 - The Year of the Dragon. In this exciting new sport, the opponents have to kiss each other as many times as possible in three 3 minute rounds. Contestants must wear gloves as there is a strictly no groping policy. Points are scored in the following manner: on the cheek - 1pt, on the lips - 2pts, on the mouth with tongue - 3pts.
Josh grappled his way to an easy victory but was unable to comment after the bout as his opponent had bitten his tongue to pieces. However, according to an official Snogathon after bout translator Josh said *ai wan a edicate is ictorty uooo mai mudda*

LightseekerZ is a visual feast for the eyes which is loosely connected with various art forms such as computer art, digital art and digital painting. The new piece breaks the mould of the aforementioned digital art movements because it is accompanied by a soundtrack and has been heavily edited. However, according to the artist, the inclusion of a soundtrack is due to the medium of exhibition being used. “Under normal conditions the piece would be played on a continuous loop with only the original audio from the “live” recording which, apart from video editing processes, remains untreated. This in itself breaks some of the rules of other digital art forms as they increasingly tend to be silent footage. However, my way of working often involves layers of ambient sound such as those found at the beginning of the piece being presented here. Given the fact that this version of LightseekerZ is being exhibited on an online platform I thought it only fitting that it should be accompanied by an appropriate soundtrack. “ This exclusive premiere is part of world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog’s 10,000th hit celebrations which, although being carefully prepared to coincide with the start of the Chinese Year of the Dragon which begins on January 23rd, is likely to occur in the next few days, thus jumping the gun by approximately one week. Police are treating the disappearance of world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog’s 10,000th hit secret prize as highly suspicious. A police spokesperson has gone on record as having said “the disappearance of world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog’s 10,000th hit secret prize is highly suspicious.”
Apparently, police plans for a massive hunt have gone awry because they have no idea what they are looking for. The secret prize, which was only announced recently, was actually so secret that nobody had actually heard of it (prior to a recent posting on the world famous blogspot), or knows what it is. This seems to be the main reason why police are treating the disappearance as suspicious. A high ranking police official who refused to be named stated that “the disappearance of a item of this nature obviously arouses our suspicion and although we’ll do our best to recover the item before the up and coming award date this task is hindered by the fact that we have no idea what we’re looking for.”

Although world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog follows the Chinese New Year tradition with more interest than the Roman calendar, midnight on December 31st is still a good date to chase out the ghosts, turn over those new leaves, and reflect on the last 12 months. In terms of news, the first "scoop" of the year "Blog Editor to Sack Himself" wasn't even true but still managed to clock up a healthy 17 comments. This out-did the number for an original photo of a captive cheetah from Wellington Zoo which managed a measly 2 comments. Funnily enough, this is the same number as the epic photo piece "A Family Affair" (March) and the PGABNB endorsement of Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal (May. Obviously, the year was dominated by The Royal Wedding (April thru July) and a number of new arrivals in the shape of Amelie, Isla & Pixie (although despite the coverage these and other youngsters received they haven't repaid it with a single comment!). 2011 was definitely video year: Joe C set the ball rolling back in February, followed by Experiment SH1310 in March & Bristol based artist Colin H in June. Further videos made the Papasgotabrandnewblog pages in July/August in the shape of The Wedding We'll Never See by up and coming New Zealand outfit the Hope Higgies, and the Danny & the Uncles White Wedding (Watch Out!) video single, both Royal Wedding tributes. Another 3 videos; Freight Train Demo - in August - Kat Eyes and Diamonds - in September all by experimental musician Experiment SH1310, failed to capture the public's attention amassing an embarrassing 9 comments in total. Arguably the most shocking story of the year was Bristol Toddler Exchanges New Sister For Gorilla Spiderman, a saga that kept the public enthralled during the latter days of the British summer. As always there were a lot of birthdays which were generally celebrated on the corresponding date despite the occasional editorial hiccup. The Seven Year's Hitched anniversary post with original prose was deemed uncommentworthy by the majority of the PGABNB readership with only 5 comments including a rather nasty one from, we suspect, a Mr Pepe Idontkerr, a notorious old-school school teacher in the Barrow-in-Furness region who delights in bullying his pupils (so much so that he is reported to be cross-eyed). The most depressing point of the year for the PGABNB team was the lack of comments on September's One of those days post. The call for musical relief and enlightenment pulled in a solitary comment (obviously coming from full time comment writer Ms Bird from Bristol who constantly keeps the comment flag flying). The Papasgotabrandnewblog editor was particularly cut up by November's Blog Edit Knifed report, not in the least because it should have read Blog Editor Knifed but you just can't find decent staff these days. All in all, from a blog point of view this was a bit of an Annus Horribilis (especially for comments) and we are quite happy to see the back of it. Furthermore, to end on a low point, Papasgotabrandnewblog didn't hit the 10,000 hit mark. However, looking on the bright side, there's still the chance of getting there before the Chinese New Year which starts on Jan 23rd. Get those fingers clicking!! Bristol builder Geddie H has blasted world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog for allegedly missing his birthday. The irate handyman claims that the lack of birthday coverage was a deliberate blight on his good character and is looking into the possibility of taking legal action against the popular online internet site which has notched up close to 9,400 hits since its humble beginnings back in 2006.
“I’m getting sick of this” said the fuming father-of-two. “Just because my birthday is close to Christmas people think they can get away with giving me just one greeting and one present” he added. “This has been going on since day one and it’s got to stop. Even my daughters get more coverage than I do and it’s not fair” a frustrated Geddie is claimed to have said.
Apparently, the barmy builder is also annoyed at a recent comment about his eldest daughter’s rendition of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” on a well known social network site. “If it’s good enough for Simon Cowell, it should be good enough for some poxy blog reporter with deaf ears” he reportedly ranted and raged.
When quizzed on the lack of birthday greeting, a spokesperson for world famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog could muster no more than a puzzled “Geddie who?”

UK Scientists Discover New Power Source

News has been leaked to world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog that British scientists working in the Bristol area are close to harnessing a new power source that they believe will be the answer to World energy problems. According to reports, the energy is produced by a young girl called Maya Eve of Destruction who celebrated her 3rd birthday at the weekend. Apparently, Maya is constantly vibrating, even when sleeping, and this process creates huge amounts of energy which the toddler then releases during her waking hours by zipping about the place in a manner which can only be described as a “Duracell bunny on fast-forward.”
Papasgotabrandnewblog tried to interview the nifty nipper on her birthday but her exhausted parents were unable to get the youngster to standstill for more than a millisecond. Likewise, papasgotabrandnewblog’s top photographer was unable to get a decent shot of the charming child.
A spokesman for the team of scientist stated that although they have had difficulty keeping up with the tiny tot they hope to make a breakthrough in the coming weeks and find a way to extract and store little Maya's energy.

What's in a Name?

According to reports from the Bristol area, Poppy Higginson, the baby at the centre of the "Baby Swapped for Plastic Gorilla Spiderman" scandal (exclusively reported some weeks back by world famous blogspot, papasgotabrandnewblog) has changed her name in a bid to distance herself from adverse publicity. However, her new chosen name "Pixie" seems to be having just the opposite effect. Large queues of young children have begun to gather outside the youngster's home amid rumours that the "ex-Poppy" is a real fairy-like creature that pixies are supposed to be and can actually grant wishes.

Not having much experience with "little people", papasgotabrandnewblog decided to investigate and uncovered the following information:

First of all, Pixies are often described as ill-clothed or naked. As the above photo clearly demonstrates, this is indeed the case with Poppy Pixie. In fact, her sister looks pretty ill-clothed too so we might actually have stumbled on a pixie colony or something!

Secondly, Pixies are "in-between", not cursed by God or especially blessed. Well, with the parents these girls have got they definitely qualify on that count (with a leaning towards the cursed as far as the father goes!!).

Thirdly, pixies are considered to be particularly concentrated in the areas around Devon and Cornwall. Well knock me down with a feather! Bristol's just up the road.

I think that's more than enough evidence for this blogspot.

What we need to know now is whether this is all part of some larger migrating pixie trend? If the government finds out they'll soon put a stop to that as they don't like travellers, especially if they're ill-clothed or naked. We suggest you get yourself down to Bristol sharpish and try your luck with those wishes!

A spokesperson for the world famous blogspot delivered the following statement:

“World famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog would like to distance itself from Santiago based ancient ambient psychedelic chill-out electro-sound shaper Experiment SH1310 with immediate effect. Whilst we share the pre-apocalyptic, post-modernist, quasi-feminist fuelled vision portrayed by the artist in his current work, we feel that it is too outlandish for our mainstream readership especially given the recent results of scientific reseach that reports readership figures falling to an all-time-low of 3.7 viewers per day. Moreover, the comments section has been even harder hit. Whilst we loathe to make a scapegoat of anyone in particular we have lay the blame somewhere.”

In fact, the announcement comes just over a week after a failed world record comments attempt by the world famous blogspot which managed an embarrassing 38 comments in 7 days. Ironically, this figure did manage to break the record for the lowest number of comments on a world record comments attempt, undercutting the previous worst record (Simon Cowell’s birthday greetings on Facebook) by 3 votes. Back in 1989 the 2nd longest serving Native Tongues Posse group claimed that 3 was the magic number on their award winning debut album 3 Feet High and Rising. However, in-depth research by Papasgotabrandnewblog has unearthed the fact that the true magic number is actually 3.7.
3.7 is the number of views per day that the award winning blog has pulled since its creation 2004* days ago on March 25th 2006. However, despite this grand revelation, the blogspot believes that the hard work has only just begun.

The management team representing Kat, the star of the artistic collaboration between experimental musician Experiment SH1310 and experimental filmmaker David Lynch* were tight lipped today after false allegations of animal cruelty almost caused the postponement of the premiere of the animal actor’s latest production. The funky feline was a no show at the first public viewing of his latest mini feature film Kat Eyes and rumours of problems in the animal actor’s camp arose after a reporter for World famous blogspot Papasgotabrandnewblog overheard one of the management team state that the up-and-coming animal star was in a bad way because he had been “working without paws”.
Police had to be drafted in to restore order after upset fans, who had queued overnight to see the 9-minute plus mini masterpiece, got wind of the false news and started rioting having believed that the actor had been deliberately maimed.
The RSPCA arrived and resolved the matter with the minimum of fuss and the premiere eventually got underway a little over half-an-hour later than advertised.
The film, described by critics as a feast for eyes and ears, is a surrealist tour de force on par with the Dali/Buñuel collaboration Un Chien Andalou (An Andalusian Dog) but without the gory bits or the man bicycling in nun's clothing (or any people).

Bristol based builder Geddie H has been exposed as the mastermind behind the recently reported "New Sister for Gorilla Spiderman", as exclusively covered by world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog. The devilish dad caused major controversy for originally trying to pin the blame on his toddler daughter Honey Rose although it’s now reported that he has come clean and admitted his guilt after a harsh tongue wagging from his (much) better half, Raggs H.
Earlier today the fiendish father hung his head as he left his family home in central Bristol. A small group of demonstrators who had gathering outside the property hurled abuse and chanted as the horrible hubby made his way to work.
“Evil man, evil man, swopped his daughter for a Spiderman“ chanted a pair of young adult females who refused to be named but said they had travelled down specially from the Droitwich area.
“Shame on you”, “How much for an extension?” and “Lend us your plastic gorilla Spiderman” were some of the other cries that taunted the barefaced builder.
No criminal changes have been brought against the dastardly dad but there are several reports that he has put all work on hold bar the construction of a large one-man-doghouse in the back yard of the idylic family home. Honey-Rose, the toddler at the centre of the scandal was unavailable for comment.
The whereabouts of Poppy Lou-Lou, the infant at the centre of the exchange deal are currently unknown but it’s believed that negotiations are underway for the swop deal to be reversed with Loot.com, the online business that oversaw the deal, claiming that they are confident a solution to satisfy all the parties involved is imminent.

A youngster from Bristol has shocked her parents, friends and family by exchanging her new born sister for a large plastic gorilla in a Spiderman outfit. Little Honey Rose H (nearly 3) decided that she was getting the short end of the stick regarding recent household upheavals and took matters into her own hands. Having waited patiently for nine months for "a sister to play with" little Honey felt she was being short-changed and placed the following advert in Loot.com:
Exchange baby sister for toy. Almost new, sleeps, eats, poos a lot. All serious offers considered.
According to reports a local business saw the ad and offered a large plastic gorilla in a Spiderman suit in exchange for Honey's week old sister Poppy Lou Lou. Honey's distraught mother is frantically reviewing the legal ins & outs of the case but apparently the exchange was carried out within the guidelines laid down by Loot.Com and any reversal of the deal would depend on the goodwill of the buyer.

Film Review: The Wedding We'll Never See

As reported exclusively in Monday's Royal Wedding Stop Press edition of world famous blogspot, Papagotabrandnewblog, the four and a half minute mini-masterpiece The Wedding We'll Never See by New Zealand actor turned director Ella Double H scooped best film award at the recent Royal Wedding Video Awards. This wonderful comedy drama, set in the outskirts of the little seaside village of Paekakariki (NZ), follows the plight of a kooky British family desperately making preparations for a wedding back in their beloved homeland that they're never going to get to.

There are some marvelous performances from the mainly amateur cast (in fact Double H is the only professional actor) and the characters, whilst somewhat quirky, are warm and believable: the disillusioned dad who believes his lame "party tricks* are suitable for such a sophisticated occasion, the fussing do-gooder mother frantically baking hundreds of profiteroles, the greedy thoughtless elder daughter who eats them all (beautifully underplayed in a wonderful minimalistic performance by Double H in possibly her finest piece of film work to date), and the whacky younger daughter, played with wit and charm by new found talent Freya Double H, who desperately seeks out the wedding venue to no avail.

Despite the low-budget, there are no punches pulled when it comes to special effects as demonstrated during the "jacket scene" where the amazing camera effects shrink the dotty dad to half his normal size. In fact, the camerawork is excellent throughout and once again credit must be given to Ella Double H for all her work both in front of the camera and behind the scenes in a piece of work that overshadows all her previous work to date and which, if there is any justice in the world, will firmly establish her as a force to be reckoned with in the New Zealand film industry.

According to an official spokesperson, latest tribe member, Poppy Higginson, popped out earlier than expected as she doesn't want to miss out on her cousin's wedding.

Well known Bristol-based artist, Colin “ Super Chato” Higginson celebrates his birthday today. As almost exclusively reported by world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog recently, Colin’s latest piece of art was “Boy” a pop video of an original song from the artist extensive repertoire. Although there is no official statement, the song is rumoured to be about one of “boys” in the one of the photos accompanying this article. However, the artist, who was not available for comment, has neither confirmed nor denied this claim.
Further rumours circulating that the artist is currently working on the follow up with the tentative title of “Teenager”, with the final instalment “Man” being ready for release to coincide with the artists 100th birthday in 2063, are also unconfirmed.

Belated Birthday Boy Rob B has denied reports that he is envious of his wife's headline hogging antics. Birthday gal, Moe B, has astounded doctors, friends and family alike by getting younger every day. Known on the Chipping Norton hairdressing circuit as “the female Benjamin Button” Moe has spent the last 4 or 5 years working on her objective of reaching 30 by the year 2020.
According to a spokesperson, Moe is well on the way to achieving her goal and, if she manages to progress at her current rate, may even hit the 30 mark as early as 2018. “When Moe puts her mind to something she usually gets what she wants” the spokesperson added. “When she first announced her revolutionary Age-Reduction Plan many people pooh-poohed the idea but now they’re eating their words.”
Apparently, the first part of the plan involved packing her kids off and telling them to look after themselves. No folks, this is not an advertisement. Strange but true, this stuff actually seems to work. Now in our 3rd month of trials, papasgotabrandnewblog have been testing out this amazing product and so far none of us has grown a second head.
Unhappy with more conventional products on the market which didn’t do the job or resulted in minute (but weird) bits of dangling skin appearing in areas of use, papasgotabrandnewblog was lucky enough to come across this product in an organic vegetable market. According to a spokesperson for HMV, pre-sale orders for the recently announced, as yet unrecorded, cover version of “Here comes the Bride” by Bristol based psychobilly, country pop-rockers John E Vistic Experience are hitting unprecedented heights. Subsequently, in a move that can only be described as a blatant sell out/cash in to rival the Sex Pistols Great Rock n’ Roll Swindle fiasco, the fun-loving-foursome have announced a special “select the B-side competition” exclusively via world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog to decide which song to cover on the B-side of the special our “drummer’s getting married” single.
According to a source close to the band, the initial intention had been to cover “White Wedding” by punk-pop posers Generation X until it was rightly pointed out that with 3 nippers already crowding out the nest, it wasn’t really a wise choice. The next tune under consideration was soul crooner Roy C’s “Shotgun Wedding” but, once again, it was deemed inappropriate as Danny C. the drummer in question (incidentally, of no relation to Roy), actually seems to be favour of tying the knot (although he is believed to be currently seeing a psychiatrist and may yet have a chanGe of heart).

Bristol finest underground, psychedelic, star-studded superdupergroup John E Vistic unleash their sound on an unsuspecting public (well, some of us are “expecting public” because we've been listening to their tunes on myspace for yonks but there are lots of unsuspecting public out there too. I guess lots of tonight's audience won't be that unsuspecting either so maybe we should settle for "appreciative" but maybe that sounds a bit limp. I’d prefer not to use “suspecting public” because that takes away the element of surprise. I could just use “blank public,” not that the public will be “blank” (except those related to the drummer) but “blank” as in leave-a-space-blank so that everybody can insert their own adjective. Then again that would be pretty lousy journalism on my part so I’d best think of something snappy pretty snappy.).

World famous blog site papasgotabrandnewblog has started a new fad by announcing that its new editorial policy is to celebrate birthdays a day late. After researching into the number of hits that the blog received on birthday posts the self proclaimed trendiest-blog-spot-on-the-planet decided that post-birthday birthday greetings got more hits than birthday greetings.

According to the world famous blogspot's psychologist, this occurs because the general public feel less ashamed to post a comment late if the blog site greeting is already belated. Forgetful family and friends can claim they logged on to comment on time but were unable to do so because the blog site hadn’t posted the initial greeting on time.

So, happy day after birthday greetings to Droitwich Rock Chick Jamie H who was 24 yesterday. According to rumours she spent the day dodging paparazzi in the Worcester district with a mystery (male) companion!!!!

Crappy Pan-Continental-Electro-Rockers Experiment SH1310 have jumped the gun and released their first video "Nothing (Instrumental)" via facebook. Described by those who've seen it as "Utter Rubish", the video uses Creative Commons computer generated images from hip living art screen saver Electric Sheep to highlight their limp sound. The song is taken from the previously unreleased debut album "Luxury Wallpaper".

Welsh-wizard-whizz-kid video hot-shot director/producer Joe C to film the Krazy-Psycedelic-Country-rockers new video single.

Further rumours suggest that London-based make-up artist/art director......

Rosie W will run things "off-camera"with catering duties being looked after by her.....

Moreover, the video will feature a cameo role by the acclaimed New Zealand actor...

Santiago based underground electronic groovester Experiment SH1 has gone head to head with Bristol based country psycho rockers John E Vistic by announcing that the celebration for his 1000th My Space hit will be held on March 24rd, the same day as the Vistics celebrate the launch of their debut album "Modern Love".
A spokesman for the little known Santiago soundsman said that the word on the street was that the Vistics were starting to worry that their get-together would be overshadowed by that of the chill-out tunesmith.
"Although the Vistics have over 100,600 more My Space hits than us, we feel the tide is about to turn" added the spokesman.
To publicise the event in Santiago, the band has asked listeners to vote for their favourite Experiment SH1 tune all of which are featured on the unreleased first album "Luxury Wallpaper".

Yes, yes, yes. Today, March 5th in NZ (but still March 4th for the rest of us), Furniture Designer extraordinaire Adie H celebrates the day of his birth, a date he shares with Losar, the Tibetan New Year. However, whilst Losar lasts for only 15 days, Adie's bithday celebrations seem to last the full 365 days of the year!

Our photo shows Adie either getting ready to receive all his pressies (may have a long wait then -Ed) or posing for a wood sculpture he plans to carve in honour of himself!

Budding visual artist Joe Cioma & visual budding artist Rosie Wells both celebrate birthdays today (Why they couldn't get one each is beyond me but then again young people nowadays seem to have a mind of their own!)

An example of JC's work can be seen in the previous post, whilst RW's work should be coming to a cinema near you shortly (in Never Let Me Go i a 2010 film version of Kazuo Ishiguro's 2005 novel of the same name directed by Mark Romanek).

Nobody managed to name the volcano, even though various sometime viewers have seen it up close (The Wales bunch and 2 brothers). The answer is, of course, Villarrica, one of Chile's numerous active volcanos. The reason that the volcano is in the news is the rumour that Bristol based playboy socialite Josh W will ski down the volcano blindfolded after losing a bet in a cards game with a mysterious young card shark from New Zealand.
According to reports, Mr W, who celebrated his birthday this week, plans to send his sister out to investigate later in the year.

A fake blog post on world famous blogspot papasgotabrandnewblog has come out a winner when it was revealed that the report entitled "Blog Editor to Sack Himself" recorded 17 comments, the highest amount of comments since "Happy Birthday my Sunshine" from October 2008 which recorded 21 comments.
According to a spokesperson for the world famous blogspot, the editor, writers and staff were surprised at this occurrence.

“This is more comments than exclusive stories such as Cloned Granny and Joeman Snowman have pulled which is totally unexpected. We have no way of explaining this phenomenon but we intend to investigate and see if we can capitalize on it in some way”.

The camping trip that never was .......

So, on December 24th the 3 wise men set off to do a bit of camping. They packed up their trusty Nissan camel and took along a few precious gifts just to be on the safe side. Nothing special, just some Gold Label (cheers Mr Walker), some incense (to be frank incense isn’t the right word for deodorant) and some “mer” (often pronounced Myrrh), which is French for sea (but basically they had some bottled water). Anyway, they travelled long and far through treacherous terrain (that included a 9 kilometre excuse for a dirt-track) and finally reached their destination. Alas, even though they had checked and double checked that the campsite was open, it was closed! Suckers didn’t feel so wise then I can tell you. Anyway, they travelled back over the treacherous terrain (that included a 9 kilometre excuse for a dirt-track) and finally reached a new destination. After what seemed like an eternity, they managed to find a charming little shack at an exuberant price and save the day by washing down a superb meal with a splendid bottle of plonk (Editor’s note: Who writes this stuff????) Welsh schoolboy Joe C (Josie to his friends) has shocked his parents by inviting his new friend to stay for the festive period. According to Joe's mum Clare, Joe's new found friend is not a suitable companion for her usually, mild-mannered son. In an exclusive interview with papasgotabrandnewblog she expressed her worry at the company her son is keeping.

"This Snowman chappie isn't the sort of friend Little Josie should have. He's not very friendly or well educated. He doesn’t eat his vegetables and every time I try to strike up a conversation he gives me the cold shoulder “said the distraught mum.

Joe on the other hand thinks his new found friend is great. "I don't have many friends" explained Joe. "I live in a desolate place and it's not that easy to meet people. I think Snowy is really cool. He's definitely the coolest person I know."

Joe's father Karol said that he thought Joe's new buddy was "a bit of a drip" though when pressed he refused to elaborate on his comment.
